My 12mo/12k warranty was 6 wks past (in service date) the date DC warranties clutch problems but they did repair my clutch at no cost and called it a "goodwill repair". That was very nice and I appreciate it, but they noted on my invoice the clutch wear (blued clutch and flywheel) was related to improper
driving. I have never abused my Viper so I took exception to the comment. My only saving grace was I had complained about a clutch smell twice b/f so it was on record 6 mos. ago so maybe that's why they did the repair at no cost.
THE CAUSE: Clutch fluid was leaking on the bell housing from a slave cylinder that was faulty and this caused the clutch to have uneven wear, get hot, and smell, so the cylinder, flywheel, bearings and clutch were all replaced.
Has this happened to anyone else and if so, is it expensive to repair if it ever happens again and I pay for it?

Thanks DC,that was nice to do..... and Merry Christmas to all.....Mike
