I too ordered one from a high volume dealer in CT. I have bought all my Vipers from him thus I trust him. We agreed on MSRP with no dealer prep. I will be there to take delivery of car when it comes off transport. I have done it this way for last 3 Vipers and my "Durango"lol.. NO true VON yet BOB.. Supposed to get info from Dealer tomorrow. Supersnake I was told sunroof could delay car by an extra 16 weeks.. Take that info from a Dodge sales manager. Either legit or toilet paper....

Just came back from local dealer. Order book IS NOT OPEN. As indicated above, it is open in Canada. Initial supply of Hellcats will only be 300. Yes. you read that right. The Dealer said they are getting multiple inquiries per day on the Hellcat. Allocations have not been made in the U.S. So do the math, an SRT dealer will be lucky initially to get even one car. The usual phenomenon for a highly deirable car is going to occur - a premium over MSRP.

Perhaps that is intended to help SRT dealers recoup some of the lost profit on the Viper. Let's hope that once Dodge sees that the demand is real - people actually put up the money - that they will ramp up production so that the car is more readily available.

BTW, University Dodge has a Stryker green GTS which really pops!

- Pretty close to what is being floated here on the west coast ...

"Built in Canada, but with a maximum of 6 hellcats per month allocated for the Canadian dealer network with preference going to the volume SRT stores."

The above is pretty accurate although some questionable dealers are now advertising their fictional allocation, with the cry of get your orders (deposits) in now! It won't take long for some stores to collect over 100k in "deposits" ... and then what?

This will also apply to the Hellcat Charger and Ram1500 which should be announced shortly.

Where did you hear or read the Ram 1500? I was hoping they would do it, just haven't seen anything via the media yet. I wonder how different the 1500 will perform to the supercharged SRT Ram I had several years ago. It was 720 rwhp/667 torque.

I have a local dealer that has two pre-ordered. Both are at MSRP. I looked at order screen last week. Base was $60,990.00. Transmission was $2K and there were a few other options that could bump up price pretty good but I didn't pay too close attention to them.
