Difference in vipers

This may have been covered but , what is the difference between the regular viper and the SRT-10 viper?

92 to 02 had the RT/10 in the open roadster configuration.
96 to 02 Coupes were GTS cars
03 to 10 are ALL SRT-10 including verts, Coupes and ACR's

Haha. I don't even own one, but was at a car show Monday night with ~700 cars and just 1 SRT-10 where I ended up answering another admirer's question on production numbers and stats. It ended up being a five minute discussion and I felt like the biggest lame duck fangeek when he asked if it was mine because I knew so much about it.

So then all vipers are SRT, just not badges because they were made prior to the SRT name?

srt is just a marketing tool name- thats all folks- like fords svt- its a viper from street race technology
