Wallbanger, I'm still trying to get used to seeing your gorgeous Red Viper in the new SSG - which also looks amazing. The 6 spoke does look good in Black. Any thoughts on a CalChrome BLACK chrome as a compliment to your graphite stripes?

Can you guess my favorite wheel of all time?

I just got a set of 6 spokes for my 08 and like them a lot.
I also weighed them complete with original PS2 tire, monitor and center cap vs my OEM 5 spokes :
5 Spokes Front 52.2 lbs / Rear 64 / Total 4 wheels 232.4 lbs
6 Spokes Front 47.8 lbs / Rear 59.8 / Total 4 wheels 215 lbs

Here are a few pics :

I have a set with Sport Cups for the track. The weight is similar to the "Copperheads". They are very lightweight.

Absolutely love them. Don't judge by pictures, you need to see them in person. Also they seem to be exclusive to the Viper. I have seen the 5 spoke (or similar) on other dodge vehicles.

I know where dozens of sets are located...... All new wrapped in plastic stacked on pallets. 6 spoke razors or the 10 spoke razors. It is a legit brick and mortar business in Madison Heights, MI. Myself and another Ill VCA member were in the ware house looking at them and hundreds of other Alloy wheels.

I bought a set while I was there for the Niagara trip. Had them sent home. were waiting for me when I got back.

ask for Steve Sullivan.

Smokin' good price too.

P.S. Its a good thing my wife doesn't read the forums....:D

Does the polish on these seem to be better then on the 1old 10 spokes. Don't want to have to deal with having crappy looking polish again in a few years. Thinking about picking up a set of these or just black chromeing my originals.

I like mine alot. I had always been partial to the OEM 5 spokes on my 06 till I got a good closeup look at the 6 spoke.

I also received a set from Detroit Wheel and Tire. Perfect set at a great price. I also was torn between the five and six spokes but after seeing how the six spokes compliment the brake calipers, I was sold. Not to change subjects but has anyone used flush mount valve stems? Pros vs. cons?

I like them both but I think the 5 spoke goes better whith the car being they are wide. But to each his own.

I put mine on my car today. I love the shape and weight, but do not like the shiney finish on my silver car. I'm thinking a refinish is in my future.

I kind of agree with you and i really didn't like the 5 spoke in person. Think these just show too much. Think best route for me is to black chrome my 10 spokes

this data is from vca members weighing their own rims

I like the 6 spoke rims, but in a side by side comparison the 5 spoke rims looked better to me on my 08.

Crisp uncrowded lines, especially like the spear tip spoke ends. sort of adds a bit more 'bite' :)
