I love my Viper but I know how to make it disappear. I simply park it beside all my buddies Diablo's and Ferrari's. Sorry but the Viper will be parked there beside all of them and if there is 20 people in a parking lot with camera's they are all surrounding the Lambo's / Ferrari's. It happens every time we go out. The Viper is amazing but if you think it will get more looks and attention than those other exotics you are wrong. PS. If you pull up in ad
an Enzo you might as well take all the other cars home. I was just at a track this weekend with Lambo's, Ferrari's and Viper's and an Enzo and even all the other owners were all over the Enzo. It's the first time I've seen one up close and it is truly an amazing car. I even forgot there were Viper's there..LOL

Do we all agree that a fine, naked chick trumps them all?

Just trying to lay down some groundwork.

i parked my GTS next to a buddies orange gallardo and it simply disappears to anyone waling around. my GTS makes any other car so far do the same but not an orange lambo.

i drove it, the car is so smooth and crisp. but a totally different animal

this buddy also has a GTS (stock) gonna be doing some highway pulls with video soon i hope.

Yep I understand what your saying, but... I also think this is down to the fact Vipers are more common in the USA than in Europe! Over here there is a slight snob factor to owning a Ferrari or a lambo. The Viper seems to bring out the best in the general public, people can relate to the Viper, its on the Play stations where the Ferraris and Lambos are not! The kids tell there Dads what it is and people just smile and put there thumbs up, move over for you and smile :) You don't get this reaction in a Ferrari over here, its more a case of look at that rich Ba##**** ;)
The Viper gets just as many photos taken of it as other Supercars and as I said, I think its because there just are not that many over here!

I like the looks of my Gallardo a little more then my GTS. They both look great and more importantly are a lot of fun. Again how something looks is a matter of personal taste. There's no right or wrong answer.

The fact is, italian cars are glamourized rubbish. Fact? Yes, fact. Really? Yes, really.

"Uh.......duh.......if this car had tires and blah, blah, blah.............", yeah and if you had two functioning testicles, perhaps you would not be a homo. It's not accurate to surmise that a change of tires would make a car faster than another. There are other variables as well and some worked against the ACR in the Nurburgring competition that you mentioned. The ACR has pummeled the competition on far more occasions than one.

Who is talking about boxers? I don't keep up with all of my fans but you must be the oddball who was sending me daily private messages about a month or two ago, after reading some of your references above. Please do not become obsessed with me like you did last time and I seriously doubt that you have had a single girlfriend, let alone one that would rate higher than a 6 on a scale from 1-10. Nerds don't get chicks; they download **** by the boatload and beat their *** weiners around the clock.

Now tell me and be honest; how does it feel getting owned on the Viper Club forum?

Sigh, you just refuse to act your age (which I'm sure is close to 50) huh cupcake? Look, I'm younger than you, in better shape than you, better looking than you, and my Viper looks better than both of yours and will drag both of yours down the street. Just when I thought you couldn't say anything dumber, you do. You need to go talk to people that are into autocross. They will laugh right in your face if you tell them that tires don't make a difference. Better yet, ask some people on here about that. You "owned" me on a car forum? I am a nerd? LMAO, saying that you owned someone online is about the nerdiest thing you can do old man. Do everyone a favor, go get educated before you post. You do not realize how much if an idiot you look like with your imature posts and statements like GTS's with 495RWHP bone stock and road race tires not effecting track times. Man you are entertaining....fukn dipsht:lmao:

EDIT: Sorry Leslie, I'm done and won't waste my time with Alex anymore. Maybe since you have road raced also, you can explain to him how much of a difference tires can make:D.

Wow, you waited to post this attack until immediately after the mod says no more personal attacks?

Looks aside(thats a personal thing) maybe we can get some input here how they compare from people who actually own BOTH Vipers and other exotics as to quality ,fit and finish ect.

Do you really not know the answer to that? There are a number of factors. Those 3 cars are about as close to a race car as you can get. I'm sure you know what it takes to upkeep a race car and having an exotic like the 3 I mentioned also requires a lot except for maybe the Carrera GT. The clutch design on it is revolutionary and does not even need to be looked at until 300000 miles as well as the engine tune up is not scheduled for 15K miles.

If you have one of those cars in your garage, you are not driving it every day and will put even less miles on them as you would a Viper. Also, if you have that kind of coin laying around, having to pay for all the required maintenance/tune ups is the least of your concerns.

Don't get me wrong bro, I LOVE my GTS and will probably have it 30 years from now. BUT, if you have ever really looked over an exotic car like the 3 I mentioned, I mean, spent an hour really becoming familiar with the car and all the attention to detail, it would truly blow your mind! I got to see the Lambo up on a lift and all I could do was just keep picking my mouth up off the ground!!

I just couldn't stay out of it! I love the euro cars as much as anybody. I'm lucky enough to live on a street that has them all. 2004 MUCI, 2005 430 and 2007 turbo 911 Let's start with the muci(burned clutch 16K:omg: 2006 MUCI also burned clutch and a few other issues. 2005 430 engine sputters (stock) been back for service several times (on a flatbed) 2007 911 turbo conv. top won't close owner panic's it's summer in Miami (lots of rain every day and garage is for junk) That was last month, Now some electrical problem! won't run! Out it goes on a flatbed! The snake has not been without issue! I pull my Gen 3 out of my garage for a quick run and weekly wash. I've had it for two and a half years and that piece of sh*t car did'nt start once because the battery went dead last year and it was under warranty:D. I need a euro car because I don't know what to do with my extra cash, All my money goes for detailing. I feel sooo alone. Wait! I know! I"ll buy a 2009/2010 ACR and have two, This way if one breaks I can still have my fix! And it will still cost me less then a condo to repair. That said if I won the lotto(a large one) I will own one or two euro excotics, this way I can get a new one every time it meets the flatbed. :)Oh I have one more but if falls under bad driver class. One street over from mine. 2006 black SLR he hits curb and repair bill is $38,400.00 dealer had to fly Mercedes specialist in from Germany to fix suspension (no body damage) Muci guy on my block tells me this and I tell him that would be a nice Gen 2 added to my collection. He looks at me oddly and walks back to his yard and waits for the flatbed.

Ted, that pic of the red GTS is awesome. Kenny, you wrote a glorious post. People can say anything they want to and opinions are varied but in my opinion, NOTHING looks better than a GTS Viper. I'm not going to say that a Gen 3,4 Viper is any less than a Gen 2, especially with the accomplishments of the present ACR.

To be honest, I don't get to look at my Vipers much since I am driving them and not looking at them from a distance. However, the great Orlando has had a Viper GTS for many years (used to be a bumblebee, now has a black/silver striped 1300rwhp + Viper) and I see his car parked outside his shop frequently. He has had many exotics there as well (Saleen S7, Lamborghini Murci, Ferrari 430, etc). Not one of them looks as menacing as his GTS. When he had his bumblebee, years before I had a Viper, I was stunned by its beauty every time I saw it parked outside. In fact, if I could add one more Viper to my small collection, it would be a bumblebee GTS as a result of the visual impact that his former GTS bestowed upon me. I miss seeing that car.

Sorry in advance to get off topic because this thread suppose to be about looks of any car compared to a GTS.

I have had my 2008 Z06 since October 2007 and it's never had one issue or had it back to the dealer for anything. I have had my 2004 Gallardo since September 2004 and the only problem I have had with it has been an O-Ring leak on an AC line. My wife has had her 2005 Mercedes E500 since November 2004 and has had no issues. It's only been back to the dealer for some free oil changes while they lasted. From reading this forum there have numerous threads of 08 and 09 Vipers with issues as well as the imfamious going into limp mode. I have had my 2002 ACR since December 2007 and have had no issues so far. I also only had a few minor issues with my previous 2002 GTS.

Getting back to the thread topic I must say the fit and finish of a both the viper and Z06 don't compare to that of a Lamborghini. In fairness to the Viper and Vette they both cost much less.

Here's a quote from the Wstrn Cda VCA forums that says a stock ACR si so much faster than a tuner Enzo shod with slicks ... well. I think that a stock GTS may kill off a stock Enzo and any GTS equipped with ACR spoilers should be able to put off any comers, even if they have a few a few hundred extra hp??? Todays post ...

Hey bud. It was great to meet you and your wife that night. Greg really is a great guy. Im glad you got to get out there before the rain hit. I was out there again all day Friday and got to do a ton of hot laps with a new Nissan GTR chasing me around. It was a blast. The Enzo is an amazing car. You can see me in the background with the drool all over myself....LOL. Whats freaky is that even with 860 hp and race slicks on the Enzo, Greg is still doing lap times with his stock ACR 5 seconds faster. Not sure if you got to go for a "hot lap " with him in his car but that is an experience you will NEVER forget..LOL..

Best part of that picture is that it was at the Belle Isle Grand Prix! 400+ Vipers, Maybe 7 Ferraris, 150 vettes(?), 50 Porsches, 50 shelby Mustangs, 1 rolls, 1 DB9 and maybe 1 Lambo in their respective corrals. And about 20 "Smart Tofors" there.

So many Vipers showed up for parade laps that we had to do the laps 1/2 group each day.
