Door Popper Question

Can you open the doors from the outside while the ignition is in the "on" position, but the engine is not running? I think you can, but I'm not sure. I was just doing some wiring and I was wondering if I maybe made a mistake somewhere.

I have not tried, but I certainly hope so. Otherwise, if you got out of your car and shut the door with the ignition "on", you would be locked out.
