Door won't work!!?

Hello all!! my 2002 GTS passenger side door will not open when the button is pressed....any past or present issues known about this?
I'm hesitant to take it to the stealership......thanks and happy holidays

Broken wires in the doorjamb..very common issue.

Not sure is this is your problem or not....recently, my battery drained down. When I went to open the door, neither one would work. Luckily, I had the windows down and was able to get in the car. I charged the battery back up and was able to start the car but the neither door button worked. I reset the ECM and the door poppers now work again. These cars can do weird things when the voltage goes low.
