BFG 18" 345's they are about 1.6" taller than the stock tire but they hook hard. BTW, don't expect them to handle even close to your stock pilots when cornering.

i use them every week and theyre a good tire, sometimes even just drive on them to and from the track. as for cornering, ive no idea, i only do drag on them, learned about them at the v10 nats and im thankful to J Smith for intro'ing me to them.

Yup, I use them on my Mercedes, and they're fantastic. I've gotten a 1.75 60' using them... with just the 265/40s... on a 4800 lb car...

Now if they would only make some for the 17x13 inch rim :(

There are a LOT of Vipers out there with 17" wheels. Plus they would have a little more sidewall. I would think there would be a good market for them, a 345 35 17

Jason, I was under the impression that a 17 inch drag radial did exist. Maybe not in the size you listed, but no doubt with their increase in sidewall they would hook great. Give Luke at Tirerack a call. I bought mine from him and he is very knowledgeable with these tires. 877-522-8473 ext-362

Guys,

Thanks for the inputs. Already got them ordered thru JonB at the PartsRack. They're coming in mounted and balanced on a set of 18" Purner wheels. These puppies are being slapped on the new SRT, so it was good to see that JonB has already done his homework on size and fit. BTW, his price for the drag radials was slightly less than the TireRack price.

Yeah,
They have a 315 in 17", but it would be nice to get something that would work nice on the 13" rears.

Re: Drag Radials for 18

Interesting. Do we know for sure that the Purners fit an SRT as well as a gen-II? I'd love to have a single wheel/tire combo to use on both our Viper...
