dripping oil

I generally drive my car only about once every two weeks. On several occasions, I've noticed oil dripping from the front air dam. I've never actually seen it drip, just the puddle. And that's small, only about 2 inches in diameter. When I whip the air dam with a paper towel, it comes out dirty and oily. I'm assuming this is motor oil, but there's nothing above this area to drip from. It's so far forward on the car, there's nothing up there. I don't notice any oil anywhere else in the engine compartment. I've checked the oil repeatedly, and according to the dip stick, it hasn't lost a drop. Any ideas on what it could be? Any similar cases out there?

Thanks,
Brandon

Similar but different.
On two seperate occasions I had oil puddles under the car.
Both times the oil puddles were on the right and over too far
for it to be coming from the engine.
Both time I started up the car to observe as I couldn't spot the leak
with the engine off.

In the first instance the sender gauge for the oil pressure warning light was the culprit.
It would leak a drop at a time and follow the wire that connects to it
out to the right and drop to the ground.

In the second instance it was the sender unit for the actual pressure gauge
doing the same thing.

Neither could be seen without starting the car up
and carefully observing.
My guess is you'll need to start the car up and observe.
