Driver\'s Outside Mirror Glitch

For my 2001 GTS, I set my driver's side outside mirror almost totally inward to where I can see (somewhat!!!).
Either sometime during the drive or when I part inside my garage and then drive it the next day, the mirror has moved out of position.
This is not infrequent, but everytime I drive???
Any input would be appreciated.

Happens to mine all the time. For my mirror, it happens when I shut the door. Probably yours too.

Happens all the time - it moves when you shut the door. My cockpit routine is:

- key on, fuel pump
- open accusump
- seatbelt
- adjust mirror
- start car

Just one of those things.

While we're on the topic -- I set my RH mirror all the way inward and still can not see the side of the car in the mirror. Are the mirrors desiged for folks with the seat all the way back or is there something wrong with my car? Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as top half of your body resides in the passenger seat during the ride!!!
Same problem...I do have to lean over into the passenger side a bit to see.
