I was checking my brake pads for wear and noticed the inner pad on the e-brake on both sides is worn out completly while the outer pad has a little more than 1/2 left on it. Is this normal. And why would it wear out so much if its only used while parked. Could the adjustment be to much on the cable to the point where it hits the rotor while driving.

Vendors please send me a PM with your price. I need to order a set. Thanks :2tu:

I see this ALL the time. I am pretty sure it is the result of the E-Brake cable slightly pushing the caliper out against the rotor, so the inboard pad constantly wears at a slow rate, barely dragging as you drive. I just tell people to flip the pads every 10K miles, and you will get about 30K out of them.

Same thing happened with mine. Do what Daniel suggests, it helps. For those who think they'll just change the pads when the time comes... be prepared for a shocker. They are way more expensive than I thought compared to the regular brake pads!
