Feeling VERY fortunate right now

I have always felt very fortunate that after 10 years of waiting, i was actually able to buy my dream car.

But today i got my viper magazine. And on page 36, there is a bar graph for each state in the US, and it shows how many vipers are currently in each state. Come to find out, I have one of only 922 vipers in my state. In the state of IL, there is a total population of approximately 12.5 million people. wow.

SIDE NOTE: Out of those 922 viper owners, only 233 are VCA members. I do not understand that.

Some states had as little as 5 cars, CA had 2,570.

LOTS of Illinois VCA members own several Vipers... I own three, but have only one VCA membership.

sorry for the confusion - yes, you are correct - it reads that in the year 2005, there are 922 Viper OWNERS in IL. The numbers are OWNERS and NOT number of cars.

From that data, I am assuming that the car count is likely to actually be higher than that, especially if someone like yourself has more than one car. (CONGRATS David!)

sorry sween, again, these numbers show 2005 Viper OWNERS in each state. sorry for the confusion.

Lowest number of owners with 5, was DC, next was ND with 15.

Canada has 570 OWNERS, Europe has 507 OWNERS.

Total VCA members U.S. is 4,217,
Total VCA members cANADA is 133.
Total VCA members Europe is 193.

I am sure these are registered Vipers, that is easy to calculate. So yes, the numbers are low as there will be a handful not registered.
