last year there was a Atomic Kitten (pop group) non-factory backed vette in the British GT series, it just wasn't competitve and they struggled all season to finish a race, it didn't re-appear this year

Thanks, Neil.

Keep that news coming! I like to hear about how the Viper does at other venues. Especially if there are no restrictions placed on the Viper.

FIA GT runs unrestricted Vipers, right? And the other cars?

Vic,

The Vipers also run with restrictions in the FIA GT championships. There is also a weight penalty if you win too many races, however, all the cars in the championship are subject to these penalties. I think that the GT championship is a little bit more competitive in Europe than the GTS championship where the Corvettes are factory cars against everyone else in older customer cars.

heres a few of the competing http://vca1.viperclub.org/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000672.html vipers from a previous post, they do have restrictions and weight ballast think it was a few kg's per point carried onto the next round, but does make closer racing. The main rivals this year was the Lister Storm and the pesky Ferrari 550 which came on strong
