Very nice work. Been working on mine today and finally realized just how bad the factory amp is. Fronts sound great but rears are awful. Time for a new 4 channel.

That's a very clean set up. Looks good.
Was it a PITA to get the carpet out?

The trunk cover goes all the way to the panel behind the drivers and passengers seat. I was going to make my own but the quality I would have made compared to this one would not have been close.

It is a 5 channel, mch 1300d. 115x4 @ 4ohm and 1100x1 @ 1ohm. It's a beast.

system looks great super clean looking. do you think the rear cover deadens the sound from the sub at all being that it covers it? also are you running rear speakers or just two up front. . . .i could imagine that the amp kicks lol

I was thinking the rear cover would deaden the sound from the subwoofer but it actually doesn't. The cover doesn't seal the trunk so air still flows from the far end of the hatch, no sound loss that I can notice, still hits as hard as before.

I was running the 2 rear speakers as well but I couldn't hear them over the subwoofer, even without the cover. It was just a trial run for me to test it out to see if they gave decent bass on a real amp (not that stock junk) and they were alright but not anything to talk about (could my my loud exhaust).

The best part about my system is the subwoofer box comes right out. The speakerwires are part of a solid plug that plugs in and pulls out like an electrical plug in an outlet so it easly comes out.

No more competitions for me. Just wanted a little bass and clarity in the sound and the factory system ***** ass. I only installed 1 10 inch speaker, thats not much at all.
