My girlfriend and I have lived in our house for a little over a year and one of the things I hated the most about the house was the unfinished garage. The rest of the house is very nice about 2200 sq. feet, not bad for our fist house me at 23 and her at 20. Well after a few weeks of working on the garage with my father we just about have the garage finished out. When we started it was not much to look at, unfinished drywall, no insulation, one electrical outlet and one light. My girlfriend was just about to buy her Z06 and I hated parking the Viper in such a nasty place. And after of finding this picture on the internet it inspirited me to get going on my garage.

This is pretty much what the garage looked like before we started:
Here it is after ripping out 2 walls of drywall, adding insulation and a total of 7 electrical outlets then putting up new drywall.
Just to let you know taping and mudding in the drywall *****!
Then I decided to paint and add insulation to the garage doors, here is a before shot:

After painting texture new lighting and hanging Gladiator cabinets:
After looking at all my choices of flooring ie epoxy, racedeck and whatnot, and to stay within budget I decided on black/white checkerboard 2x2 Armstrong VCT.
Cleaning and leveling the concrete:
Starting to lay tile:
Finished laying all the tile! Not bad for two accountants as someone told us.
After waiting a week for the adhesive to dry and after the first coat of polyurethane:
Eight coats and 8 hours later:
Finished! Well close, I hung up some banners, a Viper neon clock and so on. Just need a few posters and such to hang up and finish some small painting. It was nice to get all the cabinets, toolbox, air compressor and such out of the kitchen lol. :rolling:
I had this made for my girlfriend, if anyone wants one let me know and I will send you the guys email. He can put anything on there you want. Cost like $30 and it was a nice gift for her.
We are parking on these heavy duty vinyl sheets to keep the tires from staining the white tile:
