Free, easy mod for tall people

Well, I was thinking about how my left leg is usually blocking the door speaker, and then I slid my foot behind the clutch and around the dead pedal to the rear wall.......YES! That's better. So I simply removed the dead pedal and bracket and can now easily rest my foot on the footwell and enjoy the stereo at the same time. Are you listening Skip? I just removed over one full pound from the car!

They don't call it the dead pedal for nothing....That thing will burn you up......

With the seat 2 inches lower, I can slide my foot past the dead pedal and to the floor, which I usually do on the freeway. You are right, very comfortable. You don't need to remove it though, as it comes in very handy while driving in traffic, drag racing or on the road course.
