Hey Jay....not to dispute the manufacturer's instructions, but if the rockers are adjusted properly and you are still running a hydraulic cam...there should be no need for readjustment. I install a lot of T&Ds on all types of engines....most of them Vipers at the moment....and have yet to see them "back off". The T&D adjustment/locking arrangement is a good one and I would suspect weak springs or lifters before I pointed a finger at the rockers. In fact, it seems that many head shops want to use a weak spring on the Viper head....I would look to the springs first. Good Luck.
