Here is the latest info, if you know of anyone who does not receive the e mails , pass it to them. This e mail looks a lot like last months but there are new events added so check out the details on our DYNO DAY & CAR SHOW.
We will have prelim election nominations at the meeting Monday so BE THERE! Once again the club is paying for dinner if you are a member, if you want to be a member we will sign you up & buy you dinner too!

4/24 & 4/25 Drift Atlanta Event @ Road Atlanta this promises to be an awesome new event @ road Atlanta, featuring Drifting, the new craze that isn't too new for Viper owners, we drift every time we take off from a light! there is also a non points round of the Speed World challenge as well as some other pro races. I will be there in the new Loansquick Pro Spec Miata as well as a pro IT race featuring our own Dave Garret! here is some info:
Road Atlanta will host the inaugural Formula Drift® Series event as part of a new import tuner focused weekend called Drift Atlanta® that also will include two invitational SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring races, and a Mazda Extreme Street import car show.
The Mazdaspeed Miata Cup, Formula Ford Zetec Championship, and SCCA Pro-IT series will also be part of the Drift Atlanta®, April 24-25, at Road Atlanta. Lifestyle marketing events including a concert and extensive vendor displays will also be included.
Announced as a four-event Championship in 2004, SCCA Pro Racing will sanction the Formula Drift® Series, which will be promoted by Irvine, Calif.-based Slipstream Global. Slipstream was responsible for the first professional drifting event in North America, the 2003 D1 Grand Prix at Irwindale, CA, and is the management company for the Mazda Extreme Street import car show.
Drifting is a high-skill, high-powered motor sport that calls for drivers to control a car while it slides sideways at high speed through a marked course. It is similar to rally racing, but is done on a closed, paved course. It is judged on execution and style rather than just time

Grassroots motorsports magazine is hosting a club day @ the track this weekend with car corrals & host of other activities,We need 15 cars to attend to get our own corral, lets get this together: Here is the Venue for all you car polishers out there as there is a concourse judging on Saturday. NEW: 5/9 CAR SHOW @ KURTS!!!!! The November show was awesome with over 120 cars & 15 vipers. Kurt will be breaking out the beer & Brats again so get ready for some great car action. All makes & Models welcome. We will be presenting VCA awards to the top 3 vipers! here are the details:
My friends, join us again on May 8th 2004 for a wonderful car show and dinner. MayFest is all about Beer, Brats and fantastic cars. Open to ALL cars and motorcycles! Everyone is welcome! We will have one of the largest car shows in the southeast! Come and enjoy some of the best beers and best cars in the world, and I kid you not! $10 gets 1 car in the show, 1 raffle ticket and a meal with a drink! We will be having bratwursts, BBQ chicken, hamburgers, potato salad and the best beer anywhere!
Last year we had 120 exotic, classic and sports cars on display, as well as a handful of gorgeous motorcycles. Ferraris, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, Lincolns, Lotus, Porsche, Ford, Chevy, Acura, BMW, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Volkswagen, Buick, Mercedes, Vipers, Harleys, Ducatis, Aston Martins, Minis, Fiats, Lancia, Pantera, and many more will be there. If you have not been to Kurt's before, you are in for a treat. Inside you will find the walls covered with car memorabilia! Kurt is a huge car nut! Hans Stuck eats at Kurt's everytime he is in town!
