Gen 4 Hood on Gen 3

I just installed a Mopar Gen 4 hood on my Gen 3 and I was wondering if there is suppose to be an air deflector in the hood scoop like the Gen 3? I realize the air box doesnt line up. Also if there is suppose to be one, will the one from the Gen 3 work?

There is a "scoop" or air deflector for the Gen. IV hood that is diffferent than the one for the Gen. III hood. You won't have any fitment issues when you install the scoop onto your Gen. IV hood with a Gen. III airbox. There is also a seal for the Gen. IV hood that adheres to the underside of the hood although the sealing aspect is reduced due to the differences in the two airboxes.
