While at Drift Atlanta this weekend, Dodge had a very nice display set-up with a Comp Coupe, The 7:22.1 ACR, 2 Challengers, and a Ram pickup! They were also giving free drift rides in a Challenger and Charger on a small course behind the display! A big, HUGE thank you to Fiona at JRT who offered to let me sit in the record setting ACR!

top speed is only 180? I thought even the lowly gen2s get up to 187...?

Its a red car so it tops out at 180. Yellow Gen 2's are the ones that do 187.

I hate to say it but the sign is wrong. The pre 2010 ACR actually tops out at 177 MPH per the SRT Engineers. The 2010, because of the fifth gear change from .74 to .80 and the sixth gear change from .5 to .63 and improved aero in the wing tips, tops out at 184 MPH.

It was a great experience. I'm sure the look on my face was priceless when Fiona offered to let me sit in it. I asked about driving it, but that idea didn't go over very well
