Will be buying a 00-01 GTS soon....What are the 2 or 3 best cost effective mods to do, and the hp/tq gains to expect from them...Thanks

First, most people do the usual smooth tubes and filters. Then headers and exhaust. Not sure on the hp gains. The newer cars dont' seem to respond as well to exhausts as the older GTS's. Definate improvement in sound though.
Roe makes an awesome affordable supercharger and BTR makes a great nitrous/propane setup.

If deciding between 00 and 01, I'd go with the 01 just for the ABS.
1. Smooth tubes and K&N's (unless you get an ACR in which case you'll already have them).
2. High flow cats and 3" catback system.
3. 3.55 rear gears (no HP or TQ gains but definate seat of the pants gain)
4. Roe S/C if you don't have strict emissions tests (like CA)to deal with.

Hey that's a nasty plate!!!Yes i will give you a call next week, i do have a few questions...I would have thought more guys would have done mods and had before and after dyno #s...What kind of $$ are you looking at with the blower, retaining a basically stock engine..?
