If you wanted to build something really wicked (1000+hp), but still a street Viper, would you use a GTS-R block dry-sumped?

If you use a GTS-R block, what other parts WILL NOT fit from the normal v10? You have to use the R crank right? Is there anything else R specific that has to be used?

Will everything else from the normal Viper V10 fit?

Will all accessories bolt up?

Will the dry sumped R block not have the 3-5 main oiling problems the production block has?

Could you swap in an Iron V10 from the trucks? Would everything (accessories and such) bolt up? How much more do these weigh than the aluminum blocks? Is the added weight worth the strength?

The main goal here is to build an engine that will live with 1000+hp and stay together, long term, and be daily driver capable with all accessories.

I assume you want to keep it V10? If not, I'd go Hemi

One more thing - if you're going with the GTSR block, you might as well use the $15k intake manifold from it as well, with the ten individual butterflies - really impressive
