Instead, I am going to rebuild the engine of my Gen 4 with all the goodies to handle a big shot of Nitrous and in the future maybe a turbo.

I would like to Thank Sean Roe and Josh from the Roe Racing team in Florida for the gorgeus/ top notch Forged Pistons and Rods I received in my house last week. They handled my order extemelly well and always returned my phone calls and e-mails almost imediatelly. They will have my business again for sure as they are a pleasure to deal with! Can't say enough good words to those guys and the way they treat me as a customer.:headbang:

-CP Pistons for Gen 4 - 10:1 compression- ceramic top - anti friction skirts- gas ports- special bullet proof pins.

-Carrillo Rods (H-beam)with multiphase bolts

-Total seal piston rings.

Other go fast parts also waiting to be installed:

-BBG/Ram clutch with aluminum Flywheel

-PSI Nitrous Kit

-ACR-X Chromoly pushrods

Wish list for now:

-Engine billet pulleys with underdrive crank pulley

-3:55 gears

-Pro-gram main caps

-stronger valve springs

- All gaskets, bearings and bolts necessary for the engine rebuild

It is going to take quite some time but with the pistons and rods out of the way I believe is a good start in the right direction of making 1000hp or over with engine longevity.

No, Its going to be cheaper by ALOT! I am building this car for nitrous.

Until the shops cut the viper tax off on those turbo kits and we have a standalone for an acessible price I refuse to go turbo.

btw,

what tt price range would be tempting to you :eater:

I dont know because the turbo kit wouldn't work without the standalone ECU so, I always see those two together at this point.

To me, it is worth it to improve the N/A work on the car, add 3:55 gears to the diff, build the engine and spray at least a 250 shot. It will keep me happy for while and then when maybe prices go down on ECUs and turbo kits I would be in the market for both...
