Heading to Detroit...

My wife and I are heading to Ann Arbor to visit a buddy and take in a Michigan/Notre Dame game this weekend (which is a sad battle of two 0-2 teams). Anyways, we are going to tour around Detroit on Friday and wondered what exactly there is to do. We might hit the Henry Ford Museum, is it worth it?
Is there any way we can tour the Viper (CAAP?) production line? I seriously doubt it, but it is worth asking.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, any Viper owners heading to the game?

H. Ford Museum is great and so is Greenfield Village (right next to the museum)...easily half a day each

Motown is worth an hour or two....close to downtown and a Hard Rock Cafe is on the circle ...both easily accessible from Woodward Ave

Edsel Ford mansion (far east side, Grosse Point)...well worth a few hours

Chrysler Museum, an hour or so at best, nice gift shop

CAAP, been there many times...well worth the time, no idea about access without a club of some sort...the Chrysler Museum might be able to give you some info

...I always enjoy visiting Detroit, lots of automotive things to see everywhere
