Check engine light on a 1998 Trans Am. ODBII reader says P1416 - Air system Bank 2. What's the cause / correction for this. (I know, not Viper related but I need a quick answer)Thanks in advance.
Try this. Look for a metal check valve towards the back of the engine, passenger bank. One end is connected to a hose, the other to the exhaust manifold. Exhaust gases are probably leaking past that check valve. Should be an easy and inexpensive fix. Don't forget to clear the code and then recheck if the CEL light comes on.
