The front passenger side of my hood ('00 GTS) comes awfully close to the headlight assembly. I'd say 1/32" clearance or closer in that corner where it aligns with the facia. The corner is the only close spot. The driver's side is fine. When I run my finger over the seam on the drivers side, the hood is slightly higher than the facia. When I run my finger on the passenger side, the hood is slightly lower.
So my question is this: Do I just have to slightly raise that round rubber stop that's under that corner of the hood to get the proper alignment? Or is there something else? There also seems to be some sort of plunger/switch mechanism there as well. I'm assuming that if I raise the hood too much, I'll have to adjust that switch as well.
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
