Hood Weight - I\'ve had a 1996 RT/10 hood

installed on my 1994 and now the hood won't stay up. Does it weigh more? Is this something the dealer can fix?

There were a few hood spring that got put on cars that did not have the proper heat treat and have a very low spring rate. I had the same situation on my 97 GTS and warranty covered the new ones. Your hood should stay up with the latest springs.

Can you share with us what you think of the fit and finish as well??? As you know, there is MORE THAN ONE bad hood out there!!!
