You're right, I was correcting 15% for rear wheel and did that backwards.

I know from the F1 engines - 700+ hp, but at 20,000 RPM, that they also had "poor driveability." Just wondering.

lol - yeah those F1 babies won't run around the pits at 5mph and 1000rpm - i have heard how many rpms they need to take off without stalling - it's quite high.

An 800hp V10 NA motor could be made very drivable - it was just that this particular road race engine had a spec that made huge power at low rpms (for a race motor) but the penalty was a cam profile that had way too much overlap for smooth idling around the pits and no doubt ran high impedence injectors.

A proper race cam with low impedence injectors could be made to idle around the pits with a Motec or similar easily. Meaning the issue of drivability is tuning and parts selection not power related.
