how to launch?

Just installed my half shafts yesterday so im going to the track on tues..I have the purner slick/skinny combo on...what tire pressure and what launch technique should i use or what rpm to launch at??

It's all dependent on the track and the track temp.
I'd start at say 15psi and launch at 3500, just slightly
slipping the clutch. See what happens.

Too much wheelspin, take the pressure down to 12psi
no wheelspin and the engine bogs: up the launch rpm.

If you can focus on being consistent on the line, rather
than racing the other guy, do it. Don't worry about hitting
the light perfect, go for consistency. You'll be amazed at how much you'll learn from run to run.
