HOWTO: Viper Owner -> VCA Member?

I signed up for a VCA membership a few hours ago. Anything else I need to do? Notify a moderator, or something?

Do I automagically get updated to VCA Member when the database syncs or something?

Usually, all of the existing members with 12,000 posts or more get a check from the applicant. Then we talk to you and decide if you are worthy.

Most of the time, if the check does not bounce, you are in.

































OK. Straight up version. It's a manual system. No database syncing that I'm aware of. Patience and regulated persistence - contact the mods for status - will lead to the quickest results.

And no, I don't have my VCA member number yet, but, since I've been on the boards for almost 6 YEARS now can't I just forward my receipt to a mod as proof and you guys upgrade my board status?

You can certainly do that if the receipt contains the VCA number. Send it to me. If it does not contain the number you can call 800.998.1110 and ask for it. Better yet email [email protected] and tell her that Lee needs your number. We will get you hooked up, no worries. Send me the receipt you have anyway.
