The im gasket would break down over time and begin to leak air. Not a good thing and you should be preventative and change them out. If you have a friend at the dealer, see if they can’t get it covered under the TSB for it. Otherwise, the gasket cost should be minimal. The labor is to loosen and raise the im. Only disconnect the things you need to raise the im up 8 inches or so. You don’t need to disconnect every last thing from the im and totally remove it from the car. I think the bad gaskets were labeled “194F”.
