Looked on the forum, saw a ton of posts where the conditions of the whine were like mine, it is barely audible but I can hear it, sounds like a radiator fan running. Goes away when I depress the clutch (sounds like it is powering down and then gone) and then comes back gradually when I engage the clutch again. If I depress the clutch and then rev the car the sound is not there either. So, It guess it is in the transmission and must be gears "whining"?? Any way to solve this?

I saw posts ranging from "it's normal" to, "change the transmission fluid to, "use Royal Purple" to "my transmission is shot". What was the verdict here? No change in the performance of the car, the sound is just annoying.

Thanks
