Have noticed on a few occasions reecently a small amount of a yellow liquid with an oily texture and no smell on drivers side near tire on floor. First thought it was from my lift, but nothing is on the car under the lift (usually the Viper - love to drive it) and no indications of any leak from the lift. So I put the Viper up on the lift and noted small amount of residue from a leak on bottom of wishbone and accumulation of dirt etc on lower coils around shock. So, my question is, with 2,200 miles on an 09 snake, is it possible that my shock is leaking? Do they contain a yellow fluid? Should it be covered by warranty (I bought it new - and had it shipped from the dealer in S. Dakota to my home in NJ?

When I'm leaking yellow fluid, I've likely been drinking. Heavily.

I'd say take the car in for warranty...

Yup, my drivers front started leaking at about 1600 miles....going in on Friday to have it replaced. I'm not sure why the lack of shock seal quality, kinda of bummer.

Cheers,
George
