I'm not too much into the 1/4 races due to the face I don't have a track too close here and I don't want to break parts all the time, but If I do run, it's usually from a 40-60 mph roll. Would 3.55's be better than the 3.07? It just seems when I accerate..my car pulls real hard but seems to take forever to shift into the next gear>....is this a good idea or bad idea?

I would assume it would pull better having your higher gears...but your top end would sacrifice due to hitting higher rpm's quicker.

As an ex drag car owner, (23 years with a 6-pack Roadrunner), I assure you the 3.55 gearset will improve performance in the 1/4 if you can find the traction!! At first you will think you have added cubic inches to the motor. True, you will lose top end speed, but how much of it do you use anyway??
