Info needed about air bag install after wreck

Has anyone installed air bags after a wreck?
I have the manual on clockspring, but the question is can you plug them in or do you need DRB to reset code. there is a capacitor to keep the system energized after battery disconnect for a few minutes. I just don't want to install, connect battery and BAM!. thanks

I thought that only a dealer could install airbags? I don't see that as a "weekend" project. Not something I would mess with that is for sure.
