Those tires are from the 8th week of 1996, the 9th week of 1996, 38th week of '97, and the 52nd week of '96. All old enough to be LONG past their usefulness.

Pre-2000 codes are 3 digits, after are 4 digits.

Could it be that 086 = 8th week of of 96
096 = 9th week of 96
387 = 38th week of 97 possible replacement tire
526 = 52nd week of 96
