I drove the cruise today and everything looks good. Roads are still a bit dusty, but with mules and plows allover, that will hardly change... One bridge was closed permanently, but I added one more bridge to the cruise in south side of Lancaster County.

Lauri,

Did you bottom out your front during the test drive? I'm a little concerned about my car. It is lowered about an inch and also has the front splitter.

Thanks - Brian

Brian, you might want to ask someone that doesn't scrape gum off the highway as they drive:lmao:

There are few bridges where the undercarriage does scrape lightly. I can avoid all but one by approaching in angle. My front spoiler does not scape on the bridges, it does on on few spots on the roads. Like said, we will be travelling on SMALL roads occationally while driving from one bridge to another. These are not the roads your would pick to drive a viper, but if mine makes it, you got nothing to worry about..... (other than road dust and horsepoop, aka road apples):D

We'll be driving anyway below 20 miles/hour on these roads, while there are some nice transition roads with good curves too...:drive:

Brian, seriously Lauri's car hits the tar strips driving down the highway, when you are behind him you can hear it scrape periodically

We will be eating here: Good 'N Plenty Restaurant & Bakery | History

Reservation is currently for 25 eaters. It is bench seating, long tables and you pass the food to the next one, all you can eat. Amish style. "Dining" is $20.25 per head, with one check policy. The menu is simple, there is only one item on it. There will be PLENTY to eat and pick from, ham, meatloaf, chicken etc.... Did I mention, it is PLENTY of food.... :D

Any questions, please PM me.

Lauri
(My Viper is still in about 147 smaller and larger pieces, it has no radiator, no brakes, no wheels, no front, no lights, interior is out and some other little things... I quess I'll have to work all week to get it back to road again?):crazy2:

Oh..... by the way.... Did I mention....

I'll add more on Wednesday and Friday to the final count. I'm sure they have enough hamloaf and chicken halves...:D No problem whatsoever!

Like I would not know it.... I was in garage last night to midnight putting the steering back together. Thats when I realized the inspection sticker was a 01/09, crap. I have inspection on Friday, I dont even know at this point if the car runs. I hope it does.

If not, I have to 4x4 Hemi Commander, follow me through the cornfields!!!

Good Luck Lauri. You've had double work this time around...putting the cruise and the car together. We appreciate your time and effort!:)

It'll be OK if you have to drive the Commander. Maybe Denny will let me pull one from the lot and I'll follow you through the cornfields!!!!:omg:

THE BEAST IS RUNNING!!! Full tank, the new Kuhmo's are blasting my car.:crazy2:
I'll try to get it inspected today.

Whats the total head count Carmen, close to 40? Looks like I'll have to call the restaurant again...

I have asked the local police (few good connections) to drive by the Holiday Inn few times during night, just to be sure. So if you see cops on the parking lot, its OK... They were invited.:2tu:

Anyone need to call me:
