Already the last autocross??? Where did this year go??
Racing is a big part of our club. We enjoy bringing new folks into it and watching the race bug take hold. It's exciting to observe people realizing that these cars were built for performance driving and then seeing them evolve to understanding this car on a whole new level. This year has been a huge example with the massive crowds that have joined us at autocrosses, the number of rookies who have learned (and continue) to join us, and of course all the ladies who have joined and continue driving with us. It's truly no small phenomena!
Well, our next and last autocross is at our favorite place - Maywood Park in Melrose Park, IL. It's easy to get to, no hotel needed for most, and it has a huge expanse to work with. It's on Sunday this time - August 29th!
We intend on making this one of our best and make sure our last is our most memorable. Everyone is invited, let's make this a great event.
