Is there more leg room in a GTS or an RT/10? On all the RT/10's that I have tried to sit in, I can't hardly get the door shut and my clutch leg is buried in the dash. I know the seat lowering kit helps, but I was just wondering about the GTS's

Same.... sort of. GTS's and '97 and later RT/10 have adjustable pedals. So Gen I RT/10 have ever so slightly different leg room than Gen II RT/10's and GTS's (Gen II's are the same as each other).

Gen I's have seats by Lear while Gen II's have Johnson Control seats... again, the difference is likely so slight it is not worth mentioning.

Seat lowering kits help with head-room..... but I'm pretty sure, not leg room.

I just installed a 2 inch seat lowering kit

I am 6' 4" and had my left leg (before) crammed with my left leg tight against IP with the seat all the way back.

NOW the seat is 2" lower and rearward 1/2 inch. Life is great Knee is off of IP and I have a slight reach to fully depress clutch.

Hope this helps. :2tu:
