Ive also posted this question in the SRT section, I hope its permissible to add the question here also.
I have a GEN 3 that just developed a lifter noise above 2500 RPM. No CEL, engine runs normally. Oil is full, clean and maintains normal oil pressure throughout RPM range. Removed driver side valve cover, seems like the side thats the problem, oil is clean and no visible damage. All rocker arms are tight.
If I replace the lifters, do I need to remove cylinder heads or remove engine as shop manual states. Seems like cam can replaced throught the front, has enough room if timing cover, radiator, condenser and oil cooler are removed. Not looking forward to this, but must be done!
    Thanks for your help, John

Disregard my question on your other post. I see it is a Gen3 now.
