Will a light weight fly wheel used on a gen2 also work on a gen3???

Probably a dumb question... but, Will a Gen3 lightweight flywheel fit a Gen2 (instead of Gen2 to Gen3)? My understanding is the clutch is interchangeable, but not the flywheel?
