Looking for good performance shop

I have a Gen 2 GTS that I am finally ready to start working on and I'm looking for a good trustworthy performance shop to take my car to. The one I had in mind closed back in 2010. I live on the boarder of LA county and Ventura county near Malibu and am looking for a performance shop in the region. I’m willing to drive a bit if I need to, just wondering if anyone has used any shops in the region or have heard of any good ones. I’m looking to do new exhaust system and new heads and suspension and a good tuning. I'm looking for a shop that will give me good guidance and advice and not just try to sell me anything and everything they can. Thanks for any suggestions you guys can give me. I want to get some stuff done before the summer is over.

Specifically, Dan was the man behind DC Performance which was one of the most respected Viper shops in the area and country, for that matter. Now you will find him at Specialty Performance Team and here on the club forum. So, you have two #1 shops to choose from !
