lowering the suspension??

Hello, i am highly considering lowering my suspension on my 2004 srt/10 and was wondering if it has any impact on performance or if i DID lower the car, would it be a negative aspect towards the vehicle in general. I really like the look but I will not alter it if it has no positive benefits??!! I would be doing it purely based on looks. Thanks, Nick

It depends on how much you lower it. I lowered mine with the spring caps, and have had no issues. Springs lower it further and would have scraping issues. The caps lower it enough that it cleans up the look without sacrificing clearance issues.
