minor smoke came out of the breather box...does anyone know what this is?

had my gen 1 out the other day...when i came to a stop at a light...the car started smoking (white smoke) out of the black eyelet, up by the windsheild, on the passenger side. when i came to look under the hood there was no more smoke, but the black vent box smelled of burnt antifreeze. i just had the head gaskets changed...about 300 miles ago...is this something left over or am i looking at gaskets again!...or am i just freaking out over nothing?

I would continue to freak out until you found the source of the smoke.

not really sure...didn't notice it when i was driving it...other than at the stop light...and i have like an inch of snow today, so i'll have to wait until tomarrow or friday to pull it out of the garage to check...i did check the overflow and it was down like a quart of a/f!

im wondering where it went...since it isn't leaving a pool under the car!

crossover housing gasket or heater hose.

i did have the heater on when it started smoking...what exactly could be the problem with the heater hose?

also if the crossover gaskets were leaking...wouldn't antifreeze pool down in the middle of the motor?

phil any help would be great!
