Mirrors

Both of the mirrors on my 01 coupe do not work.I have been told the mechanism and mirror housing must be replaced has anyone had this problem?

Check the fuse first, then check power at the mirror while operating the switch.

Fuse - $
Switch - $$
Mirror Assy - $$$$

Both mirrors move on one axis while they just click when trying to move the other way.

I'm gonna vote switch on that one.

I would still remove the mirrors and see if you get voltage at the mirror on that control signal. The 2 things those mirrors have in common is the fuse and switch. And for both to develop identical problems? I'd look at the common items.

If you have to replace the mirrors it said here that the Stealth mirrors were the same:

i think the mitsu 3000gt are same as stealth

the electric joystick switch for the 99-02 mirrors are the same as a '97 grand cheerokee.
