My PCM is custom tuned, would the dealer have re-flashed?

Hello all,

I was just thinking, would the dealer have any reason to re-flash my PCM back to stock when just installing a new transmission under warranty?

I dont have any experience with installing Viper tranny's, but none of the tranny's I've seen/helped to install have required any reflashing.

No reflash is at all needed for installing a new tranny.

Our cars arent even close to being that complicated.. lol..


There are very few connectors on our tranny.. I'm thinkin 2 or 3 max. (most, if not all are solinoid actuators for reverse lock out, and skip shift).

Place a label over the connector indicating do not reflash. The dealer may attempt a reflash if they look up any TSBs and find that there is one you have not completed. A reasonable preventative step.
