Hi everyone!
A friend of mine wants to gain some more hp on his '05 SRT. He is using it as a daily driver, even during winter, so the reliability is very important. He already has K&N air filters, headers and exhaust.
What else would you do?
I told him a VEC2 and a aluminum flywheel would probably be good for him. Right?
He is considering in putting (maybe) a supercharger on his car. Is it reliable as a daily driver? Even during winter? Do you need to change the cast pistons to forged ones like for '00+ Gen2 to be safe? Are the cast pistons also a problem if you do head works (without a supercharger)?
If he doesn't go with forced induction, what about gears? Are they worth on SRT's like on Gen1-2? IF yes, what ratio would be better for his setup?
Any other idea?
Thanks in advance for your help.
