A friend here has an 03 SRT with 3600 miles. The car was a prototype for Corsa when they were finishing there exhaust. The car has no blemishes. How much should he expect in trade? He is looking at a new 04.

I recall several recent posts on this board for used '03s in the $70k area, but have no opinion or information beyond that. Trade in value would be less, of course.

Why would he wish to trade in 03 with Corsa's for 04? Minor differences. (Red Calipers). Probably cost him $10K with taxes.

The 05's will start production mid-July to early August.

My guess is that the dealer's trade in offer will be 67k to 69k.

SteveT. Correct, dealer offered $67,000. My friend thinks that is too low. I have no idea why he wants to trade, the car sounds very good with the Corsa.
