Hi, first post here. Great to be here. I am about to purchase a new SSG 08 from Planet Dodge in Humble (Houston TX area) and I was wondering if someone could help me out and check out the car on the dealer showroom. I just want to verify there are no chin/side sill scrapes, scratches, scuffs, swirled paint, etc. Please let me know if you can help me out.

Thanks!

Here is the Houston site you might be able to contact someone from there if nobody answers on the boards. Coupe or vert? Good luck with it!

This one must be a different one than yours.

Thank you! Unfortunately, it looks like I can not post without joining there and I believe I have to be a VCA memeber to join.

This one is at Planet Dodge and is a coupe with no stripes.

Sorry, there is not a phone listed. Hope this helps.

You are most welcome!:2tu::drive:

Let us know when you get your 2008 SSG Viper! It looks beautiful!

When you purchase new you get one year free regular VCA membership. The dealership needs to fill out some paperwork to get it going and it does take a few months to activate.
Get you all kinds of perks on this site along with other discounts from vendors and Viper Magazine.

I'm glad Jim took care of it for you. Otherwise I would have gone down to check it out for you. I've yet to see any kind of damage on new Viper at dealerships (I've been to quite a few) because these are expensive investments for the dealer and they are pretty careful with them. I talked with one dealer who had to have the motor replaced because it was shipped to him without motor oil in it!
