Recently I joined VCA but was wondering how I change the info on
left side of posts. I see most people have pic's and it says were
you are a member. Do I have to wait for someone else to OK my status?

I sent a pm to one of the admin's (KCOBEAN) and copied you so he could update your title.

Send him a pm if you want it to also have the VCA club you have joined.
